Help is needed with handling and processing Lantern Award entries for the SPRF 2010 Conference, which will be held Baton Rouge, LA in September. ECPRO is tasked with this job. Thanks to Deborah Thatcher for designing the Call for Entries materials and the distribution of them. Jean Dutton processed the entries at her house. Joe Purka accompanied the entries to Tallahassee, where the judging took place. Lists are now being made of the winners. Notification will need to be made to the winners alerting them of an non-specific award, certificates need to be made, awards ordered, a video produced to be used the night of the banquet and a booklet listing the winners for the SPRF Conference Banquet. If you can help with any of the above remaining tasks, please let President Ardelle Bush know.

If you are promoting an event or cause, please take advantage of
the resource table available at our meetings and place your
flyers, brochures, etc. on it.
An announcement about the event can be made for the small fee of
$1, which will be added to the Student Media Competition funds.

A drawing for a “free lunch for a guest” is available for members who wear their ECPRO pins to the meetings. There is a separate container for pin wearers’ business cards at the sign-in table.
